How every story works

Each book visits one new place, the same cozy way.

    Sunny's parents travel for work, and every trip brings home a plushie from a faraway place.

  2. Sunny asleep under a yellow checked quilt, cuddling Sunny the sloth plushie in its red hat.

    Bedtime snuggles

    Sunny cuddles up with their favorite, Sunny the sloth, and the new friend too.

  3. Sunny the sloth standing up, wide awake and smiling, in a red bucket hat with a mustard-yellow backpack.

    A dream begins

    As Sunny drifts off, they dream they are Sunny the sloth, red hat and all.

  4. Mira the moose, a gentle brown moose with cream antlers and sleepy, kind eyes.

    A new friend's home

    The new plushie comes alive and shows Sunny around their home place, with a small lesson on the way.

In a snowy dream of pines and frozen ponds, Sunny helps Baxter the beaver mend his dam one stick at a time, then slows down beside Mira the moose, just in time to see the northern lights.
